University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is led by our Board of Directors. The Board is made up of a Chairman, Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors.
- The Chairman and Non-Executive Directors are appointed by the Trust’s Council of Governors
- The Chief Executive is appointed by the Chairman and Non-Executive Directors
- The other Executive Directors are appointed by the Chairman, Non-Executive Directors and the Chief Executive
The Trust board is accountable for setting our strategic direction, monitoring our performance against objectives, ensuring high standards of corporate governance and helping to promote links between the Trust and the local community.
