This guidance is intended to form the basis of a discussion between the staff member and manager regarding implementing steps to enable expressing / infant feeding at work. Any arrangements must be discussed and agreed with your line manager prior to returning to work.

Dedicated rooms for infant feeding / expressing at our 4 main sites
We have dedicated rooms for infant feeding / expressing at our 4 main sites, these are as follows:
Royal Sussex County Hospital:
- Maternity ward – Level 12, Thomas Kemp Tower. Please email [email protected] / [email protected] to arrange times to access the infant feeding room
- Infant feeding room – Ground floor, Louisa Martindale Building (behind the café/seating area, by lift A). Key can be obtained from LMB reception staff
- Infant feeding room – Level 6, Louisa Martindale Building (part of café), opening soon
Princess Royal Hospital:
- Bolney Ward (Maternity) 2nd floor, Princess Royal Hospital main building, please contact [email protected] / [email protected] to arrange times to access the infant feeding room
Worthing General Hospital:
- Bramber Ward, Multipurpose room, opening soon
St Richard’s Hospital:
- Tangmere Ward – 2nd floor, Maternity block. Please contact [email protected] (infant feeding lead) to arrange times to access the infant feeding room (Tangmere Ward ex (32942), Bramber Ward ex (85144) to use in Fran’s absence, please ask to speak to a Ward manager or midwife in charge)
- St Richard’s Staff Lounge – Dedicated infant feeding room, booking sheet on the door, opening soon
