Mr Walsh qualified in dentistry from Guy’s Hospital in 1992 and qualified from GKT medical school, with honours, as a doctor in 2001.
He undertook postgraduate training in oral medicine, general surgery, vascular surgery, orthopaedic surgery and accident and emergency before entering specialist Oral & Maxillofacial training.
His higher specialist training was undertaken at St Georges Hospital in London, The Royal Surrey County, Guildford, and the Queen Victoria Hospital, in East Grinstead. He completed a fellowship in reconstructive cosmetic surgery and completed a masters degree in surgical education.
He is on the GMC specialist list for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary skin cancer team at St Richard’s. Mr Walsh has worked at St Richard’s since November 2009.
