This is your last chance to nominate your colleagues as part of the 2024 Star of the Month programme as it will close at the end of 2024 ready for our Patient First STAR Awards to open.
The Star of the Month award recognises our colleagues who go above and beyond in their role, making a difference to our patients, visitors, and their colleagues.
Each month our judging panel look forward to reading all the nominations submitted, explaining how our colleagues, front line or behind the scenes, have demonstrated our Trust values and contributing to our True North goals.
In November, we received almost 100 nominations recognising individuals and teams who have excelled within their role. Our November nominations are currently being read by our judging panel and the winner will be announced towards the end of December.
By submitting a Star of the Month nomination, you can show your appreciation for our colleagues and volunteers, whether this is for individuals or teams!
The winner will receive a £100 gift card, kindly funded by our hospital charity, My University Hospitals Sussex, a framed certificate, and a congratulatory letter from our Chief Executive, Dr George Findlay. They will also be invited to the 2025 Patient First STAR Awards, with a chance to win the Star of the Year award.
The second and third runners-up will each receive a £25 gift card, kindly funded by our hospital charity, My University Hospitals Sussex, and a congratulatory postcard. Every nominee will receive a postcard recognising their achievement, which we encourage them to display proudly.
