The NHS is still here for you over the bank holiday weekend. If you need urgent medical help, just call NHS 111. They can direct you to the right place and can give you a time slot to arrive for services at our Emergency Departments or Urgent Treatment Centres.
By calling 111 first you are making sure you are going to the most appropriate service for your needs – getting the right care, in the right place, in a more timely way.
In an emergency
If you or someone you know is experiencing a medical emergency, you can still attend the Emergency Department or call 999.
Choose the right service
If you’re feeling unwell but it isn’t urgent, there are other ways to get help over the bank holiday:
- Pharmacy – Find your local pharmacy and check opening times for Sussex online
- Walk-in services – Find the closest walk-in centre near you.
