Worthing has been close to my heart ever since I started my career here as a newly qualified nurse nearly 30 years ago. I live locally, my family uses our services, and I care deeply about the wellbeing of both our staff and our patients.
I’m passionate about creating a positive, supportive culture—one where staff feel valued, heard, and empowered. I believe high-quality care starts with how we care for each other. I also have a strong commitment to patient experience and making sure our local community plays a real role in shaping our services.
In a time of change and following the challenge of the merger, it’s more important than ever that the voices of Worthing staff are not just listened to—but championed. That’s why I’m standing as your governor: to be a visible, approachable advocate, bridging the gap between board decisions and life on the frontline.
I bring compassion, courage, and a belief in fairness and inclusion for all. I believe in honest conversations, collaborative working, and using our collective voice to create a culture we can all be proud of. Let’s work together to make Worthing the best place to work—and the best place to receive care.
