Mr Philip Ridings has been a Consultant Surgeon at UHSussex NHS Trust for over 20 years. He has significant experience in emergency surgery and trauma as well as elective general surgery such as hernia repair and gallbladder surgery. He has been a Bowel cancer screening colonoscopist for over 10 years and is current Clinical Director of the Sussex programme.

Having served on the emergency and trauma rota for 20 years, he now performs only planned surgery at Princess Royal hospital as well endoscopy and clinics.
