I am an experienced surgeon in General and Upper GI and Bariatric surgery with excellent exposure to emergency surgery.
I got an accredited Bariatric Fellowship in Chichester after working at Sunderland Royal Hospital, a big UGI and bariatric center.
I am on the specialist registry in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia as a Consultant in General, UGI, and Bariatric Surgery.
I am JAG accredited in Upper GI endoscopy.
I had my core surgical training from 2009 to 2012 and my advanced training from 2012 to 2105 at Cairo University Hospitals, which is the biggest in the Middle East with more than 5000 beds
I got further exposure to advanced Laparoscopy, HBP, and Bariatric Surgery from 2015 till 2018
I still hold my position as Associate Professor of General Surgery at Cairo University, Egypt
I am quadrable board certified (European, Egyptian Board of Surgery, and Jordanian Board of Surgery and MD).
I serve as the teaching lead of General Surgery at RSCH.
I am a Member of the Court of Examiners in the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
I am passionate about research, with around 60 publications till now.
I am serving as Associate Editor of the Surgery section of, Annals of Medicine Journal and reviewer for many other journals.
I am also passionate about teaching, and I serve as an instructor in many courses for the RCS (ATLS, Core lap skills, Intermediate Lap skills, BSS Ccrisp, TOT).
