Information disclosed:
1. In the financial year April 2022 to March 2023 there were a total of 84,737 attendances in the A and E Department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Of these attendances, 12,128 patients waited more than 8 hours to be admitted.
2. In the financial year April 2021 to March 2022 there were a total of 86,912 attendances in the A and E Department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Of these attendances, 12,353 patients waited more than 8 hours to be admitted.
3. In the financial year April 2022 to March 2023 there were a total of 347,804 attendances across the Trust’s A and E Departments.
Of these attendances, 32,970 patients waited more than 8 hours to be admitted.
4. In the financial year April 2021 to March 2022 there were a total 347,864 attendances across the Trust’s A and E Departments.
Of these attendances, 23,210 patients waited more than 8 hours to be admitted.
