Local Authority Housing Statistics for financial year 2023/24
Each year local authorities are requested to complete a submission to government called the Local Authority Housing Statistics (LAHS).
One of the questions asked in the submission is about how many public sector dwelling are in the local authority area.
We sent an email last year and were given an update on the number of properties owned by the trust, that are located in the Brighton & Hove Local Authority area.
I would be very grateful if you could provide an update on the number of properties owned by the trust located in the Brighton & Hove Local Authority area on 31st March 2024.

Contrary to our response to your previous request (our reference FOI230191, dated 10 July 2023) where we indicated that the Trust had a number of properties that met this criteria, we can confirm that the Trust does not actually own any public sector dwellings for the purpose of the Local Authority Housing Statistics 2023/2024 return.
Our information leads previously misinterpreted your request and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this error may cause.
