Jin Sahota joined the Board in June 2026 following a senior executive career spanning healthcare, government and global industry, with extensive experience leading transformation, procurement and supply chain organisations at national and international scale.
Jin is best known for founding and serving as Chief Executive Officer of Supply Chain Coordination Limited (SCCL), the management organisation behind NHS Supply Chain. Between 2018 and 2020, he designed, built and led SCCL into a national organisation with annual revenues exceeding £3 billion and a workforce of approximately 2,700 colleagues. Under his leadership, NHS Supply Chain played a critical role in maintaining national supply resilience during both Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before establishing SCCL, Jin was a Senior Commercial Director within the UK Government Commercial Function and was seconded to the Department of Health and Social Care as Senior Responsible Officer for the NHS Procurement Transformation Programme to create a new national operating model for NHS procurement and supply chain services.
Earlier in his career, Jin held senior international leadership roles with organisations including Technicolor, Honeywell, Motorola and Psion, leading large-scale operations, manufacturing, procurement and supply chain transformation programmes across Europe and beyond.
Alongside his UH Sussex role, Jin is Chief Executive Officer of Epscot Limited, advising healthcare, life sciences and public sector organisations on strategy, procurement and market access. He also serves as an External Advisor to Bain & Company and is a member of the Advisory Board of Cranfield School of Management’s Centre for Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain Management. Previous non-executive roles have included GS1 UK, where he supported the development of the NHS Scan4Safety programme.
Jin holds an MSc in Operations Management from the University of London and has completed executive leadership programmes at Harvard Business School and Stanford University. Jin is a keen rugby supporter and youth rugby coach.
