We operate two full day care nurseries for the children of NHS staff and public sector workers:
- Sussex House Nursery in Brighton
- Wendy House Nursery in Haywards Heath.
Our approach
Our highly skilled staff support children to reach their full potential.
Our staff treat all children as individuals and know that they learn and develop at different rates and stages. Through aged related, but not age dependent, playrooms children enjoy a rich curriculum where their interests and development are well supported through planned activities.
We offer a wide range of learning experiences through sensory, creativity and social engagement, supported through the early years foundation stage areas of learning.
Children are encouraged to become independent learners with access to resources through inside and outside environments. They have the opportunity to learn about their community and beyond by joining in with offsite activities such as a trip to the library, church, local shops, theatre or park
Opening hours
The nurseries are open Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 5.30pm. They are open 51 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays.
Application and costs
Please see the application forms below for nursery fees as they are dependent on the pay banding of the member of staff.
To apply for the waiting list, complete the application form for Sussex House or the application form for Wendy House. The nursery manager will contact you to discuss availability and settling visits.
