Biography

Dr Baldwin trained in anaesthesia and intensive care in London, Sussex and Kent before becoming a Consultant in 2003.

She has a particular interest in and published original scientific research in the subjects of the mechanisms of sepsis, the pharmacokinetics of sedative agents used in ICU patients and patient outcome following critical care. She also has an interest in digital health and is involved in the management of both the departmental IT systems and those of the wider Trust in her role as Chief Clinical Information Officer.
