Biography
Dr Ken Laji is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians UK, with dual accreditation in endocrinology and internal medicine, based at St Richard’s Hospital.
He has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine conditions in the outpatient setting and manages acute medical patients on his ward. He has on call commitments for medical admissions at the base hospital.
He has many peer-reviewed publications in endocrinology and medicine to his credit. He speaks regularly at local, regional and national meetings. He is actively involved in teaching and training, and regularly lectures for medical students, junior doctors and nurses. He is a senior clinical examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and is examines both within the UK and overseas.
He has a keen interest in clinical informatics and has designed and developed many clinical information systems for use within the NHS and private sectors. Outside work he enjoys painting, software development, UI design, photography and flying.
