Mr Kyle James is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 10 years’ experience and is the current clinical lead for the Children’s Orthopaedic team. Mr James’ specialist interest includes Paediatric Orthopaedics and Neurodisability, Adult Trauma and Limb Reconstruction and Global Orthopaedic Surgery.
Mr James brings a global perspective, honed through his work in Malawi and his international fellowships in paediatric orthopaedics and continues to support global surgical initiatives championing Children’s Orthopaedic Care.
He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, the British Society for Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery and British Limb Reconstruction Society.
Mr. James has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals, including the British Journal of Surgery, the Journal of Children’s Orthopaedics, and Bone & Joint Journal. He is also the co-author of four book chapters on paediatric orthopaedics.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. James is also Honorary Senior Lecturer in Trauma and Orthopaedics at The Blizard Institute Centre for Trauma Sciences, Queen Mary University of London Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
