Mr Ross Kenny is a consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with his NHS practice based at Worthing Hospital, part of University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. He is on the GMC specialist register and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Ross completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Nottingham in 2013, receiving a national British Medical Association award in 2011 for research. He undertook foundation training in South Thames deanery, before starting his surgical training in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region. He was successful at achieving a national higher surgical training number at the first attempt, completing surgical rotations across the south-east of England including University Hospitals Sussex, East Surrey hospital and Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells hospitals.
Aside from his passion for surgical excellence, Ross enjoys teaching and formalised this with a Master’s degree in Medical Education from the University of South Wales achieved in 2023 with a distinction awarded. He has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals focusing on the topics of breast cancer and cosmetic breast surgery. Furthermore, he has contributed chapters to textbooks dedicated to breast surgery.
