Professor John Spencer from the School of Life Sciences will present some of his latest work including targeting novel cancer and bacterial targets.
The aim of the session is to highlight the importance of medicinal chemistry within research projects from the perspective of treatment of diseases that have unmet medical needs so far. It would enable researchers to explore new ways to detect, diagnose and reduce the chance of developing a disease and consider including medicinal intervention in your research both for treatment and to improve quality of life.
