EIR220450: 3Ts hospital programme whole life-cycle carbon assessment

Request:

We wish to understand the whole life-cycle carbon assessment in reference to the Trust’s new hospitals scheme (3Ts Hospital, Brighton – Teaching, Trauma and Tertiary Centre) over its life cycle (otherwise assumed as 60 years) – stated in metrics of kg CO2eq/m2 GIA and/or tonnes CO2eq.

Can you please provide details of the following:

1. Gross Internal Area (GIA)
2. Your forecasted embodied carbon profile (Modules A1-A5 and B-C excluding B6-B7)
3. Your forecasted operational carbon profile (Modules B6-B7)
4. Stage of the design process the assessment was conducted against
5. The software used to calculate the profile assessment

1. The GIA for Stage 1 of the 3Ts project is 62,375m²
