Please note that University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust has been in operation since 1 April 2021, following the merger of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust and Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Figures provided for the financial years April 2018 to March 2019 and April 2020 to March 2021 are combined figures for the maternity services provided by both legacy Trusts.
Figures for the period April 2021 to March 22 and April 2022 to March 2023 are for the same maternity services, but relevant to University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.
