- Which framework does the Trust use for the procurement of Insourced Clinical Services.
- Who is responsible for the procurement of Insourced Clinical Services at the Trust. i.e Name or Job Title within procurement.
To confirm, Insourcing is clarified as subcontracted out services by specialist providers and this is not the same as locum supply or “off framework agency supply”.
Information disclosed:
- The Trust uses the Increasing Capacity and Shared Business Services (SBS) Frameworks for the procurement of Insourced Clinical Services.
- As is the case for most NHS organisations, we are not of the view that it is appropriate to routinely release the names and contact details of our staff into the public domain through the FOIA. This is to safeguard our staff from companies that may misuse this information.

It is important to note that the Trust and its commissioning partners are required to follow very specific rules when procuring equipment or services.
