The Nurses League at the Royal Sussex County Hospital brings together past and present nurses who share a lasting connection with the hospital and its proud nursing heritage. The League provides an opportunity to stay connected, celebrate friendships, and reflect on the values, experiences and traditions that have shaped nursing at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Membership of the Nurses League is open to nurses who trained or worked at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and who wish to remain part of this valued network. The League plays an important role in preserving nursing heritage while continuing to foster connection, support and pride in the profession.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the League. We will be celebrating with a luncheon at the Royal Sussex County Hospital on Saturday 3 October 2026.
