Congratulations to Charlotte, who has recently been appointed to a new role within the library service. She will work two days a week as Library Manager at the RSCH Library, sharing the post with Cecelia, and three days a week as Assistant Librarian within the KnowledgeShare team.
I am excited to take on this new opportunity as Library Manager and Knowledgeshare Assistant Librarian. Having the support of colleagues across both teams has been incredibly encouraging and has helped me feel confident and well supported as I step into this joint role.
Starting out as a Library Assistant means I already have a strong understanding of the team and the service, which has helped me transition into this new role. The support I’ve received from colleagues has been fantastic and has really helped me settle into this exciting opportunity.
I will be sharing responsibility for managing the Royal Sussex County Hospital Library with my colleague Cecelia, while also contributing to the KnowledgeShare team by uploading resources, answering enquiries, and supporting the delivery of the KnowledgeShare service.
