Works to amend the dropped kerb at the Eastern Road patient drop-off will begin on Monday 15 September and are expected to last for approximately two weeks.
During this period, the patient drop-off area will be closed:
- Private vehicles will be directed to use the Louisa Martindale Building underground car park drop-off.
- Patient transport will continue to use the north service road.
Pedestrian access and bike storage will remain available at the start of the works while the end dropped kerbs are installed. Once this section is complete, the existing dropped kerbs will be amended and both the pavement and bike storage will be temporarily closed. Pedestrians will be safely directed along the drop-off area for the remainder of the works.
Please note that no alternative bike storage will be available during this time.
