In our Finding Quality Health Information teaching session, we support attendees to find and access up-to-date, reliable evidence. It’s open to all staff members, from complete search beginners to those undertaking in-depth research projects, and is our most popular teaching session.
The session covers:
- Formulating an appropriate search question
- Different types of evidence
- The best databases and other sources to search
- Accessing full-text papers
…we had a session in the library going over how to do a literature search using relevant databases. I found this immensely helpful and it really propelled my research project forward – this is now going through the pre-approval process with the BSMS, so thank you!
