For each individual Radiology diagnostic imaging system within the Trust can you please provide the following information:
- Site Location (Hospital Name)
- Manufacturer Name
- Model Name
- Whether the equipment has been Purchased / Leased / MES
- Purchase year or age of equipment (years)
- Planned replacement date.

1 – 6. Please note University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust has been in operation since 1 April 2021, following the merger of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust and Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Information about the Trust’s hospitals can be found on our website.
Whilst we are in the process of aligning services under the merged Trust, our legacy imaging services continue to function individually to ensure there is no disruption to these services and our response reflects this.
Please note that this equipment has been installed across the Trust on many different dates. We have provided all the installation and manufacture dates that are held. However, we are unable to provide this information for all equipment as this information is not held centrally.

Nuclear Medicine, MRI and CT scanners: at 7 years
General US machines: at 7 years
Obstetric US Machines: at 5 years
X ray rooms: at 7 years
Mobile X ray machines: at 10 years
