Would you like to feel more confident using the internet, or know someone who could benefit from support to get online? Whether you’re just getting started or looking to develop your digital skills, Get Online Week (19 to 25 October) offers a great opportunity to build confidence and discover new ways to make the most of technology.
Organised by the Good Things Foundation, Get Online Week is a national campaign that helps people develop the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to participate fully in today’s digital world.
Throughout the week, libraries across West Sussex, together with community organisations and partners from the West Sussex Digital Inclusion, Access and Safety (DIAS) Partnership, will be hosting a range of free activities, support sessions and events.
You can get help with:
- Using a smartphone, tablet or computer
- Accessing online services
- Making video calls and keeping in touch with family and friends
- Staying safe and secure online
- Using apps and other digital tools
Being confident online can help you access information and services, learn new skills, stay connected, and maintain greater independence.
Find out what’s happening in your local area to take the next step on your digital journey.
