This week we say goodbye to Steve Sommer-Wood as he takes up a new post with East Sussex Healthcare.
Steve has been with us as Assistant Librarian since the summer of 2023 and has been an invaluable member of the Patient Education team. He has been key in helping to develop, and maintain, our internal processes and in adding all the online, accessible versions of patient leaflets to the Trust’s Internet pages. He has made great strides in auditing the patient education materials within the Trust and has been a welcoming and knowledgeable presence for members of the public at our Health Information Point in the Louisa Martindale Building.
We are very pleased for Steve but will miss him greatly, not only for the work that he does but for the collaborative, helpful, and proactive way in which he does it.
