Every day, across our hospitals, colleagues go above and beyond to deliver excellent care and support, not just to patients, but to each other as well. Whether it’s a moment of compassion, a powerful act of teamwork, or everyday professionalism.
Please submit a Star of the Month nomination to let us know how your nominee has gone above and beyond within their role. Judges will be particularly looking out for examples of a moment where a colleague or team demonstrated our values of compassion, communication, inclusion, respect, teamwork and professionalism. How will nominees be recognised?
The winner will receive a £100 gift card, kindly funded by our hospital charity, My University Hospitals Sussex, a framed certificate, and a congratulatory letter from our Interim Chief Executive, Dr Andy Heeps.
They will also be invited to the 2026 STAR Awards, with a chance to win the Star of the Year award and you can watch this year’s highlight video of the event below.
The second and third runners-up will each receive a £25 gift card, kindly funded by our hospital charity, My University Hospitals Sussex, and will be sent a congratulatory postcard.
