Our awareness campaign for August is on the topic of Immunisation.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of vaccinating people of all ages against serious and sometimes deadly diseases. The awareness month also celebrates the successes of the different immunisations that have been created in the 20th century and beyond. Once we have been immunised, our bodies are better able to fight these diseases if we should encounter them.
We have a variety of health promotion leaflets on immunisation, covering all ages, and conditions, that are available to you, your staff and service users.
