The country’s newest hospital building will host the Annual General Meeting of University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in Brighton on Tuesday 25 July 2023, from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
Members of the public are invited to attend the event taking place on the eleventh floor of the Louisa Martindale Building, with stunning views over Kemptown and the Brighton seafront.
The new wing of the hospital was opened last month and is now home to around 30 wards and departments, as well as modern teaching and training facilities where the event will be held.
The building’s three-story glass atrium off Eastern Road is called The Welcome Space, and now serves as the main entrance to the whole hospital campus.
The AGM will include a review of the year (2022/23) from Chief Executive Dr George Findlay, as well as an opportunity for the public to ask questions of Board Members and Trust Governors.
