Many of you know Scott Innes at the PRH library so will be as pleased as we are to report on his new role in the team! Learn more about this below:
“I’m Scott and I was the Library Assistant at the PRH Library for almost fifteen years before succeeding Christine Webster as our new Senior Library Assistant in November. I am delighted and honoured to have been appointed to this role – I know that I have some enormous shoes to fill now that Christine has retired, but I am determined to ensure that the high standards established during her tenure are maintained and to continue to provide an excellent service for everyone who uses our service. I have always taken an enormous pride in the work that we do here and I’m very pleased – and a little daunted! – to make the step up to my new position.
“Away from work, my big interests are cinema, football and literature and I hope to continue to dedicate time to my second life as a writer, having had a novel published in 2020. I have also recently developed an unexpected passion for vegetarian cooking – as I approach my dreaded fortieth birthday this year, I can safely assume that the accolade of ‘Most unexciting midlife crisis in history’ is now fully within my grasp…”
