This month we said goodbye to Ellie Brown, who has been our Assistant Librarian in the KnowledgeShare team since summer 2023. Ellie quickly found her feet and was already making a big contribution to our current awareness service and the wider library team before going on maternity leave last year. She is now leaving her substantive role to spend more time with her new family, so we’ll miss her positive and friendly presence in the office but happily she is staying on the staff bank so it won’t be goodbye forever!
We’re also pleased to say that Ellie’s maternity cover William Seaford is staying on in the KnowledgeShare team alongside Clare Thornalley (Knowledge Management Librarian), Rachel Playforth (Senior Librarian) and Ceri-Ann Morgan (Senior Knowledge and Libraries Administrator). He has been building relationships with external teams and supporting them brilliantly through our email helpdesk, as well as indexing a huge volume of content for the national current awareness updates provided by KnowledgeShare. He’ll also carry on his great work as a member of our team of librarians providing evidence reviews and teaching sessions.
