The Board of Directors of University Hospitals Sussex meets in public on Tuesday 31 March 2026, from 10am – 1.15pm in the Boardroom at Worthing Hospital. The meeting papers and virtual teams link are available on the board meetings page.
The agenda includes an update from the Trust’s Chief Executive Dr Andy Heeps, along with the NHS Staff Survey Results, and updates on financial planning, and the Values and Behaviours framework.
Chair of the board, Philippa Slinger, said: “Transparency and accountability are fundamental principles to our leadership and governance and so we really value members of the public attending our board meetings. It’s important for people to be able to see and understand how their local health services are run, and at the same time it helps us ensure we’re being responsive to the communities we serve.”
“We also encourage members of the public to submit questions for the board to answer. We take time to address these at the beginning of each meeting, but we do ask they’re submitted in advance to help ensure we can gather all the necessary details to provide comprehensive and meaningful answers on the day.”
