The Board of Directors of University Hospitals Sussex meets in public on Thursday 4 December, from 10.00am to 11.15am in the Boardroom at Worthing Hospital. The meeting papers and invitation link are now available on the Trust Board page
The agenda includes an update from the Trust’s Interim Chief Executive Dr Andy Heeps, and a service presentation from the UHSussex Frailty Service and outreach programme.
Chair of the board, Philippa Slinger, said: “Transparency and accountability are fundamental principles to our leadership and governance and so we really value members of the public attending our board meetings. It’s important for people to be able to see and understand how their local health services are run, and at the same time it helps us ensure we’re being responsive to the communities we serve.
“We also encourage members of the public to submit questions for the board to answer. We take time to address these at the beginning of each meeting, but we do ask they’re submitted 48 hours in advance to help ensure we can gather all the necessary details to provide comprehensive and meaningful answers on the day.”
