Established in 1956, the League of Friends, a registered Charity (registration number 257130) first supported the Cuckfield Hospital, later transferring to the Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath in 1991.
The League of Friends has been a consistent support of Royal Princess Hospital, for the continued well-being of those in our community. Fundraising with events, donations and coffee shop the Charity strives to keep the community’s hospital up-to-date with improved accommodation, 21st century equipment, improved care and better outcomes for patients.

Gift aid
- If you’re a UK taxpayer and make a donation to the Friends you could increase the value of every £1 you give to £1.25 by completing the Gift Aid Declaration (please get in touch)
- It’s at no cost to you and allows us to reclaim from the Government the tax that you have already paid on your donations.
- It provides extra funds to help us with our important work and all you need to do is to complete the declaration form and return it to us.

Bank transfer

Volunteer with us
We are always looking for assistance within the management or day to day activities within our cafe and events. Being a volunteer is extremely rewarding and enjoyable. Volunteers give as much or as little time as they like to fit around their lives.
