Why get involved?
Your input helps us enhance patient safety, experience, and health outcomes, empowering everyone to live healthier lives. This commitment is central to the Trust’s Patient Experience strategy, overseen by the Patient Experience and Engagement Group, with insights reported to senior management.
By listening to those who use and care about NHS services, especially those with the poorest health, we gain vital understanding. This enables us to improve service access, reduce health inequalities, and view our services through the eyes of patients, leading to innovative, taxpayer-efficient improvements. Ultimately, by responding to your feedback, we continually improve the care we provide.
The Patient Experience strategy is part of the Trust’s True North patient breakthrough objective and its ‘patients’ strategic theme. This is being monitored by a group in the Trust called the Patient Experience and Engagement Group. Any exceptions are reported to senior management at the Trust’s Quality Governance Steering Group.
We welcome your ideas, feedback and suggestions – you do not need to have any formal role. Here are some of the different ways in which you can give your views.
