My name is Fi McLachlan and I have been a resident in Haywards Heath, West Sussex for 17 years.
I have been a patient at Worthing, Brighton and Princess Royal on several occasions and have supported my mother through an eight-month stay in these hospitals.
I have been involved in healthcare management in my working life. I firmly believe in high quality, timely and accessible NHS services for people in the UK and wish to support both the provision and development of services to local people.
I am fully aware that our services are under immense pressure and value the work staff and volunteers do to serve people. I am committed to joined up services, good communication and responding to patient needs.
