Professor Heike Rabe

I am Professor of Perinatal Medicine at Brighton and Sussex Medical School and work as a consultant Neonatologist at Trevor Mann Baby Unit, Royal Sussex County Hospital and Special Care Baby Unit at Princess Royal Hospital. In the past, babies and children have too often been omitted in studies introducing new diagnostic tests and developing new drug treatments. I am looking forward to supporting multi-disciplinary teams across Women and Childrens to develop and setting up more studies related to Child Health. This will allow our young patients will have access to the latest medicines and innovations and ensure we use research to drive improvements in our services.
