I have had the privilege of working at RSCH compass for the past 26 years, starting as a newly qualified nurse and progressing through various roles, including ward manager and now as a change consultant. As one of the first internationally recruited nurses, I deeply understand the challenges that many of our colleagues face while navigating this route and adapting to new environments.
I am passionate about supporting others and striving to make a positive impact wherever I go whether at work or in life. As a ward manager, I worked hard to foster a culture of inclusivity and compassion, where every team member felt valued and heard.
In my current role, I collaborate with staff across all levels and from various backgrounds, listening to their ideas about what is needed to enhance services, improve working conditions, and ultimately deliver better care to our patients. I challenge these ideas when necessary to ensure they align with the Trust’s core values before presenting them to higher management.
Over the years, I have built strong relationships with many colleagues and take pride in being a respected and well-known member of the Trust. As a Trust Ambassador, I am committed to upholding our core values at all times.
With my knowledge, experience, and dedication, I believe I can be an effective staff governor, advocating for all employees and making a meaningful contribution to the Trust’s mission of delivering high quality care to every patient.
