Care for Veterans (formerly The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home) is a charity that adopts a multi-disciplinary approach towards the care and rehabilitation of our residents, which includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and neuropsychology, as well as social and recreational activities and a chaplaincy service – all delivered from our facilities in Worthing, West Sussex.
Currently, our residents range in age from 32-99 years old, and the majority of those we care for have Acquired Brain Injury or a degenerative neurological condition, such as multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease and Parkinson’s. We accept residents aged 18.
Anyone who has served in HM Forces at any time or in any capacity, and also immediate family members of someone who has served in HM Forces, is eligible for admission at Care for Veterans.
