Steps to follow when instilling ear drops

1. Wash hands.
2. Warm the drops to body temperature.
3. Lie down on your side.
4. Pull top of infected ear out and up.
5. Place the dropper at the edge of the ear canal.
6. Instil the drops into the ear.
7. Wait 2/3 minutes.
8. Massage just in front of the ear.
9. No cotton wool plug is needed.
