Improving physical activity before surgery reduces complications and speeds up post-op recovery. Our Prehab exercise programme is specifically designed to help patients awaiting surgery to improve their health and wellbeing through improving physical activity.
Taking place in a supportive environment, participants can gain confidence to undertake safe and effective physical activities and embrace an active and healthy lifestyle. Fun and sociable sessions involve an hour of aerobic exercise in a circuit training format, in addition to activities to encourage strength, mobility and balance.
With a maximum of 10 participants, support is tailored for each individual, taking into consideration lifestyle, medication, goals and preferences. Instructors are on-hand throughout to monitor, supervise and provide guidance, ensuring the exercise is safe and effective.

- Sessions are held each week on Thursdays between 11am and 1pm for 12 weeks.
- The programme is free to attend.
