The Health Information Point is a free and confidential health information service for all patients, carers and visitors of patients who need further information about conditions or treatments.
It’s located behind the main reception desk on the ground floor of the Louisa Martindale Building. You can visit it Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm.
About the Health Information Point
The Health Information Point is staffed by patient education knowledge specialists with expertise in health information enquiries.
It provides:
- guided internet access for health-related queries
- expert advice on finding high-quality health information and improving health literacy
- information leaflets from UHSussex and external health organisations
- health promotion and national awareness events
- general information on healthy living, as well as medical conditions, treatments, tests and medicines
- signposting to local support services and self-help groups.
The service is in addition to the hundreds of patient information leaflets you can find on our website.
