Next week the nominations will open for our STAR Awards, which is proudly funded by My University Hospital Sussex our dedicated Trust charity! We will be asking staff members, patients and members of the public to submit nominations for our hardworking colleagues and volunteers who improve patient care every day.
In 2024 we were delighted to receive almost 1,500 nominations for our colleagues’ dedication and commitment at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Our finalists were able to celebrate each other’s achievements together and our winners were crowned, you can watch the highlights video from the evening here.
It’s time to start thinking about which staff members, volunteers and teams have demonstrated our Trust values and excelled within their roles this year. Our judging panel love to read about the moments where your nominee has gone above and beyond within their role to support their patient’s and loved ones.
As a reminder, finalists chosen by our judging panel are invited to the awards ceremony, including all our 2024 Star of the Month winners, and each nominee will receive a postcard recognising their achievement and we encourage everyone to proudly display this.
When we are live from next week, please submit a nomination for the staff members who made a difference to you or a loved one’s time in one of our hospitals so they are recognised for their hard work and dedication.
