Mr Muhammad Sajid is a consultant Gastrointestinal Surgeon working in the Royal Sussex County Hospital Brighton from 2016. His main areas of interest include General Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Emergency Surgery. Muhammad also performs gastrointestinal endoscopy. He has been appointed honorary senior clinical lecturer at Brighton & Sussex Medical School. He is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education as well training.
Muhammad has special interests in conduction of quality improvement projects like audits and performance assessment studies. He helps junior surgical trainees to conduct these projects and present findings in national and international peer review meetings. He has published and presented more than 300 research papers worldwide which are QIP, audits, original studies, case studies, meta-analysis and Cochrane Reviews.
