This introduction to reflective writing is aimed at anyone, regardless of role or level, who needs to reflect on and write about their professional practice.

Whether you’re new to this and in need of guidance or you’d just like a refresher, our one-hour session will help you:
- Appreciate how reflection can improve practice
- Understand how to apply reflective writing
- Gain an awareness of library resources to support CPD
The session consists of a presentation with group work, including working on an example of a reflective account using the Gibbs model of reflection and applying to your CPD.
Sessions take place online or in our dedicated teaching rooms at our libraries at Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton and at the Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath.
Groups are kept small to ensure a friendly, relaxed environment with plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions and seek clarification.
