Following hundreds of heartfelt nominations from patients, members of the public, volunteers and colleagues, University Hospitals Sussex can reveal those whose dedication, compassion and commitment to excellent care have secured them a place as a STAR Award finalist.
The annual awards ceremony celebrates staff and volunteers who embody the values of compassionate, inclusive and respectful, while also demonstrating the commitments set out in the Trust’s new Behavioural Compass.

The STAR Awards are proudly funded by My Charity, the dedicated charity for University Hospitals Sussex.
Finalists and their guests will come together to celebrate at the awards ceremony on Friday 11 September at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, where winners in each category will be announced and achievements recognised alongside colleagues, family members and supporters from across the Trust.
