We’re thrilled to announce the STAR Awards are back for 2025, and nominations are now open! The awards are proudly funded by My University Hospital Sussex our dedicated Trust charity.
In 2024 we were delighted to receive almost 1,500 nominations for our colleagues’ dedication and commitment at UHSussex. This year, we’ll continue to recognise our colleagues through a number of award categories, including our site-specific hospital heroes and our new ‘All-Star Award’. All of our awards are based on our Trust values of compassion, communication, inclusion, respect, teamwork and professionalism.
Finalists chosen by our judging panel are invited to the awards ceremony, including all our 2024 Star of the Month winners, and each nominee will receive a postcard recognising their achievement and we encourage everyone to proudly display this.

Please take a look at the award categories on this page and then use the form below to submit a nomination for the staff or volunteers who made a difference to you or a loved one’s time in one of our hospitals so they are recognised for their hard work and dedication.
