Unacceptable behaviour
We operate a zero tolerance policy which means we will not tolerate violence and aggression towards staff, patients or members of the public.
Verbal and threatening behaviour is illegal and could result in action being taken by the police. We have the right to refuse treatment to someone who is violent or aggressive and we’ll report incidents of this to the police.
Information:
Dealing with violence and aggression takes us away from caring for our patients and is not in a day’s work for our staff.
