Friends of St Richard’s shop volunteer
The Friends’ Hospital Shop at St Richard’s Hospital provides facilities for patients, visitors and staff to buy a daily newspaper, gifts and snack items. It is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who ensure that the service operates every week day and all profits are ploughed back into the hospital.
Gardening volunteer
As a gardening volunteer, you’ll l help keep our hospital grounds tidy and welcoming for visitors, patients and staff to enjoy. From weeding and pruning to sweeping and planting (using non-mechanised tools only) your contributions will help to make our outdoor spaces shine.
Medical equipment library volunteer
Volunteering in this role means you’ll provide practical, hands-on support to staff in the Medical Equipment Library whilst ensuring wards receive the equipment they require in a timely manner. Your contribution will help ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently to support the very best patient care.
